This hardworking young family loves to play in the mountains and entertain family and friends. They wanted to update their space to better reflect their personalities and lifestyle. Reworking the kitchen layout and selecting finishes reminiscent of a modern mountain lodge we updated the kitchen and powder. Smokey quartz, mid tone wood cabinets with charcoal accents establish a moody forest feel while the textured subway tile keeps it bright. Cherry floors were refinished to complement the new wood tones. Extra seating at the island and designated beverage area provides ample supplies for their weekly gatherings, while a statement stone vessel sink and larger than life artwork take center stage in the powder room. This project proves that a total gut job is not always needed to bring big impact and a brand-new feel. .
